PCR test - test is the test that shows if you have an active infection

 With a swab from the throat and or nasal, we can test for active infection with novel Coronavirus. The PCR test can be used in connection with testing of employees or for travel to countries that require a PCR certificate.

 

The test is performed by our authorised healthcare professionals, who are trained in the correct inoculation technique.

The laboratory we use has more than 20 years of experience and has 800 laboratories in 50 countries. The laboratory analyses 400 million test annually and is a global market leader in bioanalytical tests. The laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited.

Antigen test - test is the rapid test that shows if you have an active infection

 With a test from the back of the nose, one can test for active infection with novel Coronavirus. 

 

We test with Biosynex Ag BSS, which has a sensitivity of 96% (very few false negative answers) and a specificity of 100% (no false positive answers). The test is Western European, it is CE marked and evaluated on a Western European population.

 

It is important to be aware that there is a big difference in the validity of Antigen tests offered by private providers in Denmark. The Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte is a German government institute with> 1250 employees, which i.a. performs independent testing. Biosynex Ag BSS performs best with a disease incidence of 0.4% of all available Antigen tests in Denmark.

Antibody test - test that shows if you have been infected previously with coronavirus

For those who have previously been infected (or have suspicion of previously infection) or for those who have been vaccinated ​

Rapid antibody test (test taken at a small dot in the fingertip)

The test requires analysis of one drop of blood.

We test with Biosynex BSS IgG / IgM, which has a sensitivity and specificity close to 100% and shows both antibodies of the type IgG and IgM.

 

The test has been evaluated at the Statens Seruminstitut.

The test cannot show false positive for antibodies to novel Coronavirus.

The test is Western European and CE marked and evaluated on a Western European population.
